frequently asked questions

No, wristbands are not included in space rentals. Wristbands are available for $15 per day, per person plus tax, including guests and day visitors. Seasonal campers may purchase a seasonal wristband for $100.

Tent camping and RV sites include 4 people in the reservation. Cabins include the number of individuals they sleep (i.e. A 6 person cabin covers 6 guests.)

Additional guests are $8 per person, per day.

All visitors must pay a fee of $8 per person, per day.

Yes, visitors may use the pool and other amenities. Wristbands must purchased for select activities.

The pool is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily during the summer season.

Alcoholic beverages cannot be brought to the pool. All drinks must be purchased in the pool/tent area.

Swimming is not permitted in Dolphin Cove but is allowed in the Susquehanna River.

Fishing in the lake is catch and release only and does not require a license. Fishing in the river is for keeps; however, a license is required.

Yes, guests may bring their own boat or kayak.

Yes, guests may bring a golf cart. Proof of insurance and valid driver’s license is required for those operating the golf cart.

Service animals are allowed everywhere at all times. All accommodations are open to those with service animals. There is no pet fee. If additional cleaning or damage is caused by the animal, the owners will be charged accordingly.

Yes, dogs must be leashed while on the property unless in the dog park.

Guests must be 21 years or older to rent any site.

Only service animals are allowed at the beach and pool.

An ID and credit card are required for cabin rentals and golf carts.

Only minor work may be done on vehicles in the park.

Only seasonal guests may wash RVs in the park.

No, car camping is not permitted.

Yes, guests may receive packages before or during their stay. Postal mail cannot be delivered.

Lakeside bathrooms have a ramp and ADA accessible bathroom as well as the Bathhouse on Magic Boulevard.

Yes, our onsite laundry facility is open 24 hours a day.

Yes, the property has two bathhouses and both are open 24 hours a day and free to use.

Monthlies are only allowed during winter season (between October 16th and April 14th.) We do have season spaces available from April 8th to October 15th.

Smoking is permitted in designated smoking areas that are labeled throughout the park.

Yes, our onsite dump station is free for guests to use and available to the general public for a $10 fee.

Yes, all sites have a picnic table.

A propane fill station is available onsite.

Yes, guests may fill their freshwater tank onsite.

Guests may bring outside firewood if it comes from Northumberland County. We also have firewood available for purchase onsite.

Yes, there is a convenience store on-site.

Food options are available at the Snack Shack in the pool area. Hours vary by day.

No, our RV park does not have a Pavilion or meeting space.

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available for use.

One tent is allowed in addition to an RV. Tents cannot be added to a cabin rental.

No, we do not offer satellite or cable tv.

Each tent site can fit two 10×10 tents.

Yes, overflow parking is available for no additional fee.

No, triple towing is not allowed.

Yes, we offer preferred rates to all winter campers in RV spaces.

Found on Aspen Lane just off of US-11, you won’t miss our beautiful campsite down the road from Pineknotter and Shikellamy State Park along the Susquehanna River. Splash Magic RV Resort – Booking Terms & Conditions
Effective as of July 2025

Welcome to Splash Magic RV Resort, part of the RJourney family of properties. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay, we ask that all guests review and accept the following Booking Terms and Conditions prior to confirming a reservation.

1. General Booking Policies
Check-In / Check-Out:

RV & Tent Sites: Check-in at 1:00 PM, check-out by 12:00 PM.

Cabins: Check-in at 3:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM.

Minimum Stay Requirements:

Holiday weekends and select special events may require a minimum stay (typically 2–3 nights). These requirements will be disclosed at time of booking.

Deposit & Payment:

A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The amount may vary based on accommodation type and length of stay. Full payment is typically required prior to arrival.

Cancellations & Refunds:

Standard reservations canceled with at least 14 days’ notice receive a full refund minus a processing fee.

Cancellations within 13–3 days of arrival receive a 50% refund or credit toward a future stay.

No refunds for cancellations within 72 hours of scheduled arrival or for early departures.

Admin Fees:

There are no administrative fees at this time.

2. Site-Specific Policies
Seasonal Sites:

All seasonal sites are currently on a waitlist. Please contact the site manager directly for inquiries.

Special Events (e.g., Annual Clean-Up Weekend):

From May 2–4, guests may participate in our annual Clean-Up Weekend. Those who participate (bringing tools such as rakes, gloves, etc.) and contribute to park cleanup from 9 AM–1 PM on Saturday camp for free in designated RV or tent sites.

A complimentary lunch is provided to participants.

Guests who choose not to participate in cleanup must pay standard rates for the weekend.

3. Site Assignment & Accessibility
ADA Accessibility:

RV Site Y-16 is currently the only site equipped with an ADA-accessible ramp.

There are no ADA-accessible cabins available at this time.

Site Preferences:

We make every effort to honor site preferences, but specific sites are not guaranteed unless reserved with a lock-in fee (if applicable).

4. Rules of Conduct
Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Pets: Friendly pets are welcome at RV and tent sites. Breed restrictions may apply. Pets must be leashed at all times and cleaned up after.

Speed Limit: 5 MPH throughout the resort.

Pool Use: The pool is currently closed for the season.

5. Liability & Damages
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to park property or rented accommodations during their stay.

RJourney and Splash Magic RV Resort are not liable for loss or damage to personal property or for accidents or injuries occurring during your stay.

6. Management Rights
We reserve the right to refuse service, evict, or deny future reservations for guests who violate park rules, display inappropriate behavior, or pose a safety risk to others.

Policies are subject to change without notice to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
